Wick Keating has joined the Heritage Education team to help create its new website to teach U.S. History and Government.

Mr. Keating has over twenty-five years of experience in all aspects of information systems. He served as Chief Technology Officer for American Management Systems, a leading high technology and management consulting firm with over a billion dollars in annual revenue. His other responsibilities at AMS included leading the Center for Advanced Technologies (AMSCAT) and the AMS Alliances Program. Keating's consulting focus has been the planning, design, development and integration of advanced information technology to improve core business functions. He has directed major technology design and implementation initiatives for large financial institutions, telecommunications firms and government agencies. He has also served as a member of executive steering committees providing senior leadership for large, complex information technology projects.

Mr. Keating is a frequent speaker and author on topics related to information systems. His articles on advanced technologies have appeared in Application Development Trends, Computerworld and Best's Insurance Review. He has spoken on the business applications of advanced information technology at conferences including the Federal Computer Conference, the International Conference on Wearable Computing and the U.S. Conference on International Banking. Keating received a master's degree in business administration from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering from Lehigh University.
